Our Executive Team
Subhendu Guha, Senior Vice President and Chairman, is a world-renowned authority in photovoltaic technology, and has many years of experience in development and manufacturing of solar panels. He serves on many national and international photovoltaic committees including the Advisory Board of National Center for Photovoltaic, the body responsible for directing and implementing the U.S. Department of Energy's strategy in photovoltaic.
Roger John Lesinski is United Solar Ovonic’s Vice President and Chief Legal Officer. Since 1994, and prior to joining United Solar Ovonic in June 2006, Roger was General Counsel of Energy Conversion Devices, Inc., the parent company of United Solar Ovonic. Roger has over 25 years of experience in managing the legal affairs of business organizations. Roger received an AB degree from the University of Michigan and his JD degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
John Morgan, Vice President, Strategic Implementation and Materials, has more than 20 years of operation experience in senior positions at GE, Silicon Power and Magna Interior. His strength is in supply chain management and cross-functional operations contributing to productivity of the company as a whole.
Salama Naguib, Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing has more than 20 years of experience in sales of solar panels and systems in major photovoltaic companies. Until recently, he served as Vice President, International Sales of AstroPower.
Art Rogers, Vice President, Human Resources and Administration, has more than 30 years of experience in Human Resources and developing and executing organizational strategy. He has held senior positions in a variety of industries and his strength and background is in global HR. He has diverse experience managing all aspects of people management.
Jeffrey Yang, Vice President, R&D, is a world-renowned scientist in the area of photovoltaics. His group at United Solar Ovonic has consistently held all the world records in cell and module efficiency in amorphous silicon technology.
Stephan Zumsteg is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of United Solar Ovonic. He joined United Solar Ovonic’s parent corporation, Energy Conversion Devices, Inc., in 1997 and served as its Treasurer until being elected VP & CFO from 2001 thru May, 2006. Prior to joining ECD, he spent more than 20 years in a variety of executive and financial positions. Mr. Zumsteg has a BS degree from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Akron.
